Tennis star Andrey Rublev joins forces with global icons to promote autism inclusion through engaging community events at the Almaty Open.

In Kazakhstan, Andrey Rublev took the Almaty Open ATP 250 as an opportunity to advocate for autism inclusion, illustrating how sports can transcend beyond competition.

During his participation in the tournament, Rublev dedicated time to connect with 10 children from the Asyl Miras Autism Center, engaging them in a series of interactive ball-and-racket activities.

This event was part of a well-established tradition, organized by the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation, to link top-tier athletes with local community efforts.

Rublev, drawing from his own background with a coach mother, greatly enjoyed the experience. 'Spending time with kids is always rewarding. It’s about learning and sharing joy,' he said.

Supporting these charitable ventures, Rublev presented the young attendees with tennis gear, fostering ongoing enthusiasm for the sport.

This initiative builds on similar efforts by tennis luminaries like Novak Djokovic and Elena Rybakina, who have also visited these centers to engage with children.

Ainur Karbozova, CEO of the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation, highlighted the significance of such events in advancing social inclusion, helping children with autism to actively participate in sports.

With over 0 million invested in various societal projects, the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation continues to champion autism awareness and inclusion through its flagship initiative, impacting thousands across Kazakhstan.

The organization’s work has received international accolades and has established it as a key player in global autism advocacy, demonstrating how sports events can fuel meaningful social change.
